What it is
We have access to a 43-acre stretch of woodland near Tile Hill, and through the spring and summer we use it. Overnight camps, fire-lighting, cooking outdoors, shelter building, and long stretches of nothing in particular.
It's the same idea as everything else we run: get men outside, side by side, doing something practical. Conversations tend to happen more easily around a fire than across a table.
Who it's for
Mainly men, including many who come to us to work on their mental health. No camping experience needed — if you've never put up a tent, someone will show you.
How to join
Places are limited and we plan each trip in advance. Register your interest and we'll let you know when the next dates are set, or keep an eye on what's on.
Looking after the woodland
We leave the site as we found it. Fires stay in designated spots, waste comes home with us, and we follow our environmental policy on every trip.
